The iPad ad that debuted on Sunday during the Oscars has been rewound, slowed down and pored over by Aple watchers, and they’ve dug up some details previously unknown ahead of launch. Want to know what the new Apple iPad features are? Read on.
Press pause at the right time on the Apple iPad advert, and you can see iBookstore pricing ($7.99-$14.99, or £5.30 – £10), as well as a My Documents button. The latter hints at a more traditional, Mac or PC like file structure in the iPad, which would make sense given Apple will offer its iWorks suite on the device.
Bette yet though, three seconds in, a blurry zoom in also hints at a front facing camera, which could be used for video chats. Of course, it’s worth remembering that the Apple iPad on show may just show software rendered on top of it in editing – the original iPad video showed it running Flash, after all – but most of these new titbits certainly make sense.
You can check out the Apple iPad advert below, and if you happen to spot any more nuggets in between stopping and starting the frames, do let us know.
